We are a collective of transgender individuals based in Pittsburgh, PA. We are dedicated to empowering our community with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to increase our autonomy regarding medical transition, in both formal healthcare settings and independently.

- Family Feud Fundraiser

Are you a competitive homosexual? Are you a competitive transsexual? Do you like answering questions with silly prizes? Do you wanna throw money to help trans rights? COME – and if you don’t I’m headcanoning you as transphobic and shipping you with JKR - Clothing Swap
1-4pm November 15th (Saturday), 2025 @ 5106 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh PAWe know there’s a bunch of clothes from before you transitioned sitting in the back of your closet. Come swap them out for something you’ll actually wear! There will also be free harm reduction supplies, a raffle to fundraise for the Ginkgo collective, and zines from the Basil Al-Araj Revolutionary Mobile Library.

12-3pm August 16th (Saturday), 2025 @ 1426 Juniata St, Pittsburgh PA**This is a closed event specifically for trans youth and their families! trans adults should contact theginkgocollective@proton.me if interested in attending to connect with and offer care to trans youth and their families.**
Celebrate back to school with DIY arts and crafts, care packages and kits, free haircuts, free groceries, social and peer networking, and more! RSVP below.
- Support Trans Youth Fundraiser
6pm July 25th, 2025
@ DM @karavansarai_chai for addressJoin us for a night of free drinks and food, and a panel discussion featuring trans youth and parents of trans youth. We’ll hear about their experiences in this transphobic climate and the medical discrimination that they have gone through.
The funds raised will be split between the ginkgo collective’s trans back to school event and TransYOUniting’s mutual aid fund for trans youth.
Food will be provided by @our_streets_collective - Needle Training Workshop
12pm-2pm July 13th, 2025 @ Mr. Roboto Project, 5106 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PACome to our needle and injection safety event to learn about safe injection techniques, the differences between intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, how to choose a proper gauge and length of needle, and where to access sterile supplies in the city! We will be giving a hands on demonstration! Masks are required and will be provided.
