We are a collective of transgender individuals based in Pittsburgh, PA. We are dedicated to empowering our community with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to increase our autonomy regarding medical transition, in both formal healthcare settings and independently.

@ DM @karavansarai_chai for addressJoin us for a night of free drinks and food, and a panel discussion featuring trans youth and parents of trans youth. We’ll hear about their experiences in this transphobic climate and the medical discrimination that they have gone through.
The funds raised will be split between the ginkgo collective’s trans back to school event and TransYOUniting’s mutual aid fund for trans youth.

Come to our needle and injection safety event to learn about safe injection techniques, the differences between intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, how to choose a proper gauge and length of needle, and where to access sterile supplies in the city! We will be giving a hands on demonstration! Masks are required and will be provided.

All over the country and in the state of Pennsylvania, there have been significant rollbacks to rights targeting trans individuals. This is not new — medical institutions have historically not met our needs nor respected our autonomy. Attend our workshop to learn about how to access transgender medical resources in Pittsburgh, how to effectively communicate with providers, and how to prepare for a changing future.
